A developing country experience program that supports the "first step" of young people with disabilities
In the Philippine language, “Fly Anay” means “Let's fly first!”.
The Fly Anay Project provides a program to interact with persons with disabilities in the Philippines for young people aged 18 to 25 with disabilities who have dreamed of going abroad but have not yet gone abroad. With the disabled in the Philippines, we will help you with the "first step" toward realizing the future you want. If you can take the "first step", the power to fly by yourself will rise. Aiming for a world in which young people with disabilities can demonstrate their potential and draw a bright future.
Fly Anay! Project implementation structure
"My body looks like this, so I think it's impossible overseas..."
In Okinawa, there are young people who dream of going abroad, but who are unable to step forward through various barriers. The Fly Anay Project secretariat operated by the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, etc. confirmed the necessary support (helpers, sign language interpreters, etc.) with them, and accompanied them on their “First Fly” if desired, We aim to realize a journey while promoting growth.
In addition, in the Philippines where I am staying, Filipinos in their 20s and 30s who have experienced the same disabilities as the participants will become “Pia Mentors” and support their experiences during their stay.
