Overview  To date, we have accepted trainees from 39 countries across Asia, Oceania, Africa, and Latin America. Taking into account each country's educational challenges, we offer lectures on the history and characteristics of education in Japan and Okinawa Prefecture, the educational administration system, and efforts to address disparities. Through training on remote islands and visits to elementary, junior high, and special needs schools on the main island, we also develop training programs to introduce Okinawa Prefecture's educational administration, schools, and parent (community) perspectives on education and efforts to resolve issues, striving to help resolve educational challenges in each country. We also plan and implement training programs that can be used by Okinawa's students and teachers as a forum for international exchange and understanding, including networking events during visits to elementary and junior high schools and opinion exchange sessions between trainees and teachers.
